Integration of Studio Habits of Mind

Studio Project Assessment

After a period of studio experimentation students create three final studio works for each project. They submit all the evidence for the development of their work (workbook pages, experiments, models, final works, etc.) in an electronic portfolio. The assessment rubric contains apects from the 8 studio habits of mind. Students use the rubric to self assess and the comments they receive from me address each habit. I use Jing to record and link my oral assessement to their portfolio. Their summative assessment is an aggregate of these attributes.
